Our Story
The 88 Constellations Observatory is the result of many years of effort on the part of Professor Nicolas Aster who has always pursued the ultimate goal of spreading his unwavering passion for astronomy. It is thanks to Professor Stella Buscando, his research partner, that the idea of building an observatory for the general public came to his mind.
Good friends for several years now, Stella Buscando and Nicolas Aster met at the university when the professor was teaching astronomy. It is then that the professor noticed the great ambitions of his student. The two quickly developed a special bond and the professor helped Stella to found the Society of Independent Scientists (SIS), a group of students and graduate scientists who help each other find grants for their projects.
The organization quickly became a success, and the Aster/Buscando duo began to think bigger. One project followed another, but the friends had to part company when Professor Buscando took a job in Costa Rica and recently disappeared.
